Covid-19 disruption could cause 500,000 Aids deaths, UN warns 

 
The United Nations has warned that the coronavirus pandemic could cause an additional half a million Aids deaths if treatment is further disrupted long term, stressing that years of progress against HIV were in jeopardy.
