Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh, on October 3, took a dig at Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath for a fleet of ambulances lying unused in the state. Singh posted a photo with a message on his Twitter account.
Tweeting in Hindi, Singh said: “What Yogi ji has done to Uttar Pradesh? 108, 102 ambulances, which were once runs by Akhilesh Yadav under his governance, are unused and rusted now, and people are carrying their loved ones in a cart to hospital.”
— digvijaya singh (@digvijaya_28) October 3, 2018

The same image has been posted on Facebook by the page named “I am with Ravish Kumar” claiming a fleet of rusted ambulances lying unused in UP. The post has been shared about 32,000 times.
However, the photo Singh used is not related to Uttar Pradesh.
According to an Alt News probe, the image is not from Uttar Pradesh as claimed by Digvijay Singh, but from Andhra Pradesh. The ambulances were contracted to an agency for maintenance and upkeep, but as the agency had not received money, the ambulances were getting rusted and becoming junk.
