Sanjay Nirupam tweets fake photo showing Narendra Modi having a huge meal
Sanjay Nirupam, who is a senior Congress member from Maharashtra, tweeted a doctored photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday, which shows Modi eating from a plate with many side dishes. The tweet carried the Hindi text: “न खाऊंगा, न खाने दूँगा” (Neither will I eat, nor will I let anyone eat).

Nirupam had used the line “Neither will I eat, nor will I let anyone eat” from Modi’s 2014 election speech where he talked about corruption. In that speech, by that sentence, Modi had meant “neither I will take bribe or become corrupt, nor will I let anyone do the same.”
When people called out the doctored photo in Nirupam’s tweet, the Congressman tweeted again saying he knew that the photo was indeed fake.
Dear friends, I know it's photoshop. And I know Modiji doesn't eat this much.

Take it as a joke. Don't be so serious all the time.

Curiously, the same Modi’s photo went viral with the content of the plates replaced with non-veg food.
This is not the first time Nirupam has tweeted such fake photos. In February 2016, Nirupam tweeted a doctored image which showed a row of RSS in their white shirt and khaki shorts uniform giving a guard of honour to the British queen.
