AAP MP ND Gupta files complaint, says Manoj Tiwari’s ‘intention for violence was’

After Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party chief Manoj Tiwari threatened Aam Aadmi Party supporters and policemen during the inauguration of Delhi’s Signature Bridge, AAP Rajya Sabha member of Parliament Narain Dass Gupta, on Saturday, filed a written complaint against Tiwari and highly demanded an FIR to be lodged in connection with the violence during the event.

Gupta said, “I filed a written complaint to Delhi Police commissioner seeking an FIR against Manoj Tiwari and other BJP workers for the violence at Signature Bridge on Sunday.”

In his complaint letter, Gupta, as an eyewitness, stated: “Tiwari, with his supporters entered the Signature Bridge inauguration venue as part of a planned conspiracy with the intention of committing violence and assaulting chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and his council of ministers.”
