Arun Jaitley says it’s possible to run India with honest government

Finance minister Arun Jaitley, in an interview ET Now, claimed that Rahul Gandhi’s minimum income guarantee is flawed. He is also sure of Narendra Modi’s return as a Prime Minister.

While discussing about Bharatiya Janata Party’s election strategy, Jaitley said, “it is possible to run India with an honest central government. We have cleaned up the system, we have cleaned up institutions, our mechanisms now make it clean.”

He also commented on former RBI governor Raghuram Rajan’s taking of political sides and said, “According to me, when people take political sides, I factor that in when I analyse that statement.”
