Arvind Kejriwal targets BJP’s Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur over her comments on Hemant Karkare  

Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party president Arvind Kejriwal, while taking a swipe at Bharatiya Janata Party’s Bhopal Lok Sabha candidate Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur for her “disgraceful” comments on 26/11 martyr Hemant Karkare, said it showed the BJP’s “true colours”.

Kejriwal, in a tweet said, “Disgraceful comments by BJP’s Bhopal Lok Sabha candidate Pragya Thakur on 26/11 martyr Hemant Karkare ji need to be condemned in strongest terms. BJP is showing its true colours & it must be shown its place now.”

Thakur is an accused in the 2008 Malegaon bomb blasts, in which 10 people were killed and over a 100 injured. She was interrogated by Hemant Karkare, who headed the Maharashtra anti-terror squad. Karkare died during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, in 2008, while fighting Pakistani terrorists.
