Asaduddin Owaisi says ‘Amit Shah wants supremacy of one faith, one party, one language in country’
Days after Union home minister Amit Shah’s remarks over the Hindi language embarked criticism, All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi alleged that Shah wanted the supremacy of one faith, one language and one party in the whole country.
On Tuesday, Owaisi tweeted: “Shah wants the supremacy of one faith, one language, one identity & one party over whole country. The Constitution was made for the MANY, not just for ambitions of 2 men from Gujarat. Every party's presence strengthens India & gives voice to a section of society. [Sic.]”
Amit shah on Saturday at the occasion of Hindi Diwas said, “It is a national responsibility that Hindi expands and prospers.”
