BJP has committed Cow slaughter: Vijay Sampla after being denied poll ticket

New Delhi: The Union Minister, Vijay Sampla, after being denied renomination from Punjab's Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha seat, on Tuesday, said the BJP has committed "cow slaughter".

Interestingly, BJP has not given the election ticket to sitting MP Vijay sampla and picked up its Phagwara MLA Som Prakash for the Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha seat.

In a series of tweet Sampla slammed BJP and wrote on twitter that "Feel very sad, the BJP has done cow slaughter.”

In another tweet, the Dalit leader claimed to present his clean credentials and asked the party what was his fault and why he was denied renomination.

"You should have pointed out any fault. What is my fault?" he tweeted.

"There is no corruption charge against me. No one can raise a finger at my conduct," he said.

After being rejected, Sampla removed the prefix "Chowkidar" that he had added to his twitter handle earlier.

Mr Sampla is the Union minister of state for social justice and empowerment.
