BJP UP ally SBSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar claims ‘US intelligence agency says BJP can initiate riots’

Uttar Pradesh minister and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party head Om Prakash Rajbhar, on Friday, stated that a US agency has warned that the Bharatiya Janata Party could instigate riots.

Rajbhar in his statement referred to the reported remarks by US director of National Intelligence Dan Coats on an assessment by intelligence agencies on threats worldwide. According to reports, the DNI was quoted as saying that there is a possibility of communal violence. He said, “if the BJP stresses on nationalist themes.”

But Rajbhar came out and claimed, “An American agency, in its secret report, has said that BJP can instigate riots … riots can take place in India”. At a public meeting in Saidpura village of Bansdih area, he said, “I am telling you not to fight in the name of Hindus and Muslims. It is only the common people who die in riots and not the leaders.”
