Congress’s Adhir Chowdhury criticizes Union Budget 2019, says ‘it is old wine in new bottle’

After the members of BJP hailed the new Union Budget 2019 as one for a “New India” which laid the foundation for an inclusive and progressive nation, the Congress termed it as “old wine in new bottle”.

While criticizing the Budget, Congress’s Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, in Lok Sabha, said it was just a repetition of “old promises”.

He added, “They (the BJP) are talking about a new India, but it is simply old wine in a new bottle.”
