Congress’s DK Shivakumar says ‘BJP conspiring against Karnataka’s Congress-JD(S) coalition government’
Senior Congress leader and Karnataka water resources minister DK Shivakumar, on Saturday, claimed that the BJP is conspiring to collapse the Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government in the state.
According to media reports, the minister’s allegations came after media reported that six to seven Congress MLAs, who are in Delhi, “could join the BJP in a day or two”. These reports triggered the speculation that the HD Kumaraswamy government will collapse after Makarsankranti.
Shivakumar said “Operation Kamala (Operation Lotus)” to topple the government in the state is currently under way once again. He said, “We have all the information on which Congress MLAs BJP has approached and how much money has been offered. We will expose them thoroughly.”
