General Bipin Rawat says ‘Indian Army will not hesitate to take strong action against terror activities along the Pakistan border’

While addressing Army personnel on the occasion of the 71st Army Day in New Delhi, the Army chief, General Bipin Rawat, on Tuesday, said the Indian Army will not hesitate to take strong action to deal with terror activities along the border with Pakistan. Referring to Pakistan, the Army chief said the country is providing support to terrorist groups and the Indian Army is dealing with them effectively.
Gen Rawat said, “The Indian Army will not hesitate to take strong action to deal with terror activities along the western border.”
He assured that some new guidelines are being followed to maintain peace along the eastern borders. Referring to the border with China, he said, “We will keep reviewing the situation along the eastern border,” adding, “our soldiers will not allow any compromise in guarding the border in the eastern section.”
