In Odisha, Narendra Modi calls Naveen Patnaik’s BJD govt ‘lazy and corrupt’
The prime minister, Narendra Modi, on Saturday, in Odisha called the chief minister Naveen Patnaik-led Biju Janata Dal government “lazy and corrupt”
While campaigning for the BJP in Odisha’s Sundarnagar, Modi said, “No prime minister has come to Sundarnagar yet. Even today, I have not come as a prime minister but as your supreme servant who is available to hear you and work for your development.”
The prime minister then attacked the BJD and said, “If BJD had good intentions, no poor would have left untreated. BJD would have utilized the Ayushman Bharat scheme properly.” Calling the BJD a lazy government, he added, “BJD corrupted the money it received from the central government.”
