In Rajasthan, Narendra Modi says ‘Congress gave hefty loans to industrialist friends, ruined banks’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while campaigning for his party, BJP, in Rajasthan, said the previous Congress government gave huge loans to their “industrial friends” recklessly, which resulted in huge losses to banks.
Addressing an election rally in Sikar, on Tuesday, Modi attacked the former Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, and said, “The Congress, which is remote-controlled by 'madam', gave out hefty loans to its industrialist friends and destroyed the banks.”
Earlier, on Tuesday, the Congress president, Rahul Gandhi, mocked the prime minister saying the PM chants “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” in every speech, yet works for Anil Ambani.
