With only two months left for the Telangana assembly election, the BJP is campaigning hard in the state where it has negligible presence. BJP president Amit Shah had addressed a public gathering in Karimnagar, on Wednesday, where he launched a scathing attack on the state’s ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Shah said: “K Chandrasekhar Rao's government has failed on every front … This government is also not able to give adequate jobs to the people of the state.”

Shah said the elections taking place (early) in the state because “KCR is afraid of Modi ji”. Even he also charged the state government for not celebrating the Hyderabad Liberation Day.

Shah said, “Chandrasekhar Rao’s government has not yet completed nearly 150 promises so far which they had said. About 4500 farmers have committed suicide in Telangana.”

Amit Shah also attacked AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi and said the BJP is the “only party” which can fight against Owaisi.
