M Veerappa Moily warns Congress, says inaction will cost the party
While regional leaders are in dilemma over Congress’s president Rahul Gandhi’s decision of resigning as party chief, former Union minister M Veerappa Moily, in a warning, on Friday, said “inaction” will be very “costly for the Congress”.
Moily asked Rahul to “reign over the party” and “quell” indiscipline, but said, “If he wants to leave, he has to hand it (the reins of the Congress) over to the right person, right hands.”
In an interaction with Indian Express, Moily said, “People are raising their voice here and there because of the current inactivity. The party cannot be in a relaxed state.”
He further argued that party’s unity and integrity have to be kept intact.
