Mamata Banerjee says ‘India’s independence and Constitution under threat in BJP rule’

West Bengal chief minister and Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee, on Thursday, claimed that India’s Independence and its Constitution are under threat in BJP rule.

While addressing a public rally at Chauk Bazaar area, Darjeeling, Banerjee said the saffron party is trying to “take advantage of the political turmoil in the Darjeeling.”

Further referring to the Pulwama terror attack, Banerjee said, “India’s independence and its Constitution have come under threat. People have forgotten the principles of Gandhiji, Netaji and Vivekananda under the BJP rule.”
