Mehbooba Mufti accuses BJP for creating fear psychosis under guise of national security
Mehbooba Mufti.
Peoples Democratic Party president and former J&K chief minister Mehbooba Mufti, on Monday, accused the BJP of creating a fear psychosis under the guise of national security to prepare for another Balakot-like strike in desperation to win Lok Sabha election.
After being an ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Jammu & Kashmir for nearly three years, Mufti took to Twitter and said: “In its desperation to win this election, seems like misappropriation of our jawans sacrifices & polarizing the electorate hasn’t helped BJP. Now they are creating fear psychosis by using national security as an excuse to prepare ground for another Balakot-like strike.”

She made this statement in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s reference of Pulwama terror attack and the subsequent air strike inside Pakistani territory by the India Air Force in order to seek political benefits out of it.
