I’m glad the space for those who don't, is closing. The truth needs to be told loud and clear in order to bring about change. #MeToo
The #MeToo campaign is gathering steam in India. So far, many women have spoken openly about the sexual misconduct they had to face in their workplaces. Women outed many names who allegedly assaulted or harassed them sexually.
The government also didn’t remain unscathed in this campaign. Former journalist MJ Akbar, who is a minister of state in the Narendra Modi government, has been accused of sexual assault and misconduct by his former colleagues from his journalism days.
