MP Udit Raj threatens to quit BJP if denied ticket, party replaces him with Hans Raj Hans for Delhi Northwest
BJP MP Udit Raj, on Tuesday, threatened to quit the party if denied ticket for the upcoming Lok Sabha election and will contest as an independent candidate from the Delhi Northwest parliamentary seat.
Raj took to Twitter and send out the word to quit the party by saying: “I am waiting for ticket if not given to me, I will do goodbye to party.”

A night before the BJP leader accompanied by dozens of his supporters made a ruckus outside the BJP Delhi office. Udit Raj has also claimed that he tried to talk to BJP chief Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi about his ticket but did not get any response, and senior leaders like Nitin Gadkari and Rajnath Singh has asked him to wait.
BJP replaces him with singer
Meanwhile, the BJP, on Tuesday, replaced Udit Raj with Punjabi singer Hans Raj Hans the Delhi Northwest seat. The BJP released its list of candidates for Delhi on Tuesday morning.
