Narendra Modi says ‘Chandrababu Naidu has betrayed NTR’s values by promoting son’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday, accused the Andhra Pradesh chief minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, of “betraying (TDP founder and former chief minister) NT Rama Rao’s values to promote his son”.
While addressing a video conference addressing Andhra Pradesh BJP workers, he pointed out how Naidu betrayed NT Rama Rao (popularly called “NTR”) by joining hands with the Congress.
Modi said, “Telugu pride can only be restored when you (Naidu) put the interests of Andhra Pradesh above your political interests and lust for power.”
He said, “A true tribute to NTR and what he stood for would be voting out those who betrayed NTR’s values and tarnished his memory. NTR’s dream of a golden Andhra Pradesh will only be realized when every Andhra citizen enjoys the fruits of development and not just one family.”
