Narendra Modi says Mamata Banerjee didn’t take his calls twice’ during Cyclone Fani, ‘such is her arrogance’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, accused the West Bengal chief minister and Trinamool Congress leader, Mamata Banerjee, of being “arrogant” who is “more concerned about her politics than the people of her state”.

While addressing an election rally in West Bengal’s Tamluk, Modi said, “Speedbreaker Didi has tried to play politics even on Cyclone Fani. I tried to talk to Mamata Didi before the cyclone hit, but such was her arrogance that she refused to talk to me. I tried again but she did not get in touch.” He then went on to say that the Bengal CM was playing politics over a natural calamity.
