Nitin Gadkari says ‘I never keep enmity in politics’
Union minister Nitin Gadkari, on Thursday, said he never keeps enmity with political rivals. He also expressed his good wishes to former BJP MP Nana Patole, who joined the Congress in January, and is pitted against him for the Nagpur constituency in the Lok Sabha election.
Nana Patole’s name was announced, on Wednesday, among the five Congress candidates in Maharashtra. While speaking to reporters Gadkari said, “It is good, any candidate has the right to contest election. I would not like to comment or criticize any candidate.”
Responding to a question about the time Patole had Gadkari's blessings when he was in the BJP, he said, “I have never kept such 'dushmani' (enmity) in politics. My best wishes to him.”
