On Balakot air strike, Navjot Singh Sidhu asks Narendra Modi government ‘did you kill terrorists or uprooted trees?’
Congress leaders Navjot Singh Sidhu and Kapil Sibal, on Monday, just like other political leaders from opposition expressed their scepticism over the impact of the February 26 Indian Air Force’s air strikes against Jaish-e-Muhammed terror camps in Pakistan’s Balakot.
Sibal stated that the prime minister, Narendra Modi, should answer the international reports that claim there were hardly any casualties in the air strike. Meanwhile, Punjab minister Sidhu asked the Centre to come clear if indeed 300 terrorists were killed.
Sibal tweeted asking if the prime minister was “guilty politicizing terror.”

You are guilty of politicising terror ?
Navjot Singh Sidhu also tweeted and launched a scathing attack on the Modi government. He asked if “300 terrorists were killed” or the strikes just “uprooted some trees”.
300 terrorist dead, Yes or No?

What was the purpose then? Were you uprooting terrorist or trees? Was it an election gimmick?
Deceit possesses our land in guise of fighting a foreign enemy.
Stop politicising the army, it is as sacred as the state.

These statements came a day after PM Modi accused the opposition of demoralizing the armed forces by “raising doubts” and “asking for proof” of the Balakot air strike.
