Priyanka Sharma refuses to apologize for posting Mamata Banerjee meme

BJP youth wing activist Priyanka Sharma, who walked out of jail, on Wednesday, said she would not apologise for uploading a morphed image of West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Facebook.

Sharma, in press conference at BJP office in Kolkata, said, “I don't have any regrets. I have not done anything for which I will have to apologise.”

Afterbeing arrested for posting a morphed image, she was released at 9.40 am from the Alipore jail after five days following a Supreme Court order. Priyanka also alleged that she was harassed and tortured inside jail.
