Uddhav Thackeray.

Reacting to the Jaish-e-Muhammed suicide attack in Jammu & Kashmir’s Pulwama that killed 42 CRPF personnel, the Shiv Sena president, Uddhav Thackeray, on Friday, said India should strike inside Pakistan and teach them a lesson.

Talking to reporters in Mumbai, Thackeray said after surgical strikes of 2016, it is now time to “strike inside Pakistan”. He said, “The issues of alliances, elections will be there, but Pakistan must not be allowed to go scot- free. It should be taught a befitting lesson.”

Slamming the BJP-led NDA government, Thackeray said the BJP should stop sloganeering and giving assurance now. He said, “Who are these people who cannot take action on intelligence alert? If intelligence inputs were not available, one wonders what do the people who are holding the reins were doing. They should be removed.”
