Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray, in an election rally in Nanded, on Friday, targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that in order to maintain the well-being of the nation, it was imperative to “remove the PM and the Bharatiya Janata Party chief, Amit Shah, from the country’s political landscape.”

While questioning the timing of Pulwama terror attack and Balakot air strike, he reminded the people of his prediction, in which he had said “Modi will create a war-like situation in the run-up to the elections.”

Thackeray also said, “The way they are leading the country is how Russia is run. They have a system where power rests in the hands of eight to 10 people. What the Modi-Shah duo wants is for the people to remains their slaves. Do you want to live as the slaves of these two for the rest of your lives?”

In March, Thackeray had said the Pulwama attack was carried out to “help” Modi in the Lok Sabha election.

Earlier, in February, Raj Thackeray had said the “truth” about the Pulwama suicide bombing will come out if the national security advisor, Ajit Doval, is probed.
