Randeep Surjewala says Supreme Court’s order to CVC to complete probe against CBI chief Alok Verma in 2 weeks is a ‘slap in the face of tyrants’
After the Supreme Court’s order to the Central Vigilance Commission to complete its probe against ousted CBI chief Alok Verma within the given two weeks, Congress spokesman Randeep Singh Surjewala, on Friday, tweeted that the apex court’s order is a “slap in face of tyrants who wanted to pin the last nail in CBI’s independence.”
Truth prevails in Supreme Court.

Modi Govt’s sinister attempt to capture CBI through lackeys falls flat.
A slap in face of tyrants who wanted to pin the last nail in CBI’s independence.
CVC can’t act as Modi Govt’s pawn but would be supervised by a SC judge to act fairly.

History won’t forget how you severely underminined the reputation of two premier institutions, CBI & CVC.
In an “exception”, SC has directed that enquiry by the CVC will be monitored by a Retd SC judge.
You are the sole reason for this trust deficit!#ModiSeCBIBachao
Surjewala also attacked the Narendra Modi government on the Rafale deal and said the people of India will remember Modi as someone who has “miserably failed” before the “rule of law”.
Today, Modiji was again reminded that ‘Modi Rule’ fails miserably before ‘Rule of Law’.

Brazen attempts to interfere, infiltrate or capture institutions will be banished.
People of India will now remind u in 2019 that bad Governments come with an expiry date!#ModiSeCBIBachao
