Stalin to Narendra Modi: ‘You are doing the job of political broker’

DMK chief MK Stalin accused the prime minister, Narendra Modi, of splitting the AIADMK after J Jayalalithaa’s death. Tamil Nadu opposition leader, on Thursday, said Modi was doing the job of a “political broker”.

Speaking at a DMK public rally in Tamil Nadu’s Karur town, Stalin said, “Let me ask you … After Jayalalithaa’s death, you created a rift in her party, then you made a vertical split in the AIADMK between EPS and OPS (chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and deputy CM O Panneerselvam), then you united them at what seemed like a kangaroo court. Are you supposed to do the job of a man running a kangaroo court? What you are doing is a job to be done by a political broker, not by the prime minister of India.”

Stalin also said the BJP losses in the recently concluded assembly elections is a sign that Modi will lose the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
