Sukhbir Singh Badal to Akali Dal members: ‘BJP workers chant Narendra Modi’s name, do you ever chant mine?

Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal has reportedly praised the organizational structure of party ally BJP during a party meeting. According to a media report, while speaking to his party members, Badal said if they ever chant his name as BJP workers chant Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name.

Indian Express quoted a SAD senior leader as saying: “Badal said, ‘BJP workers chant Modi! Modi! at each booth even in his (Modi’s) absence. Did any SAD leader chant Sukhbir! Sukhbir! at any booth?’”

The report also said Badal said this, a party leader shouted: “Sukhbir Singh Badal Zindabad.”
