TTV Dinakaran says ‘AIADMK is nothing but a branch of BJP’

The founder of Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) TTV Dinakaran, on Saturday, said “AIADMK can survive only till the bypolls.” Dinakaran alleged that AIADMK, led by Edappadi K Palanisamy, is “nothing but a branch of BJP in Tamil Nadu.”

In an interview with Puthiya Thalaimurai, a Tamil magazine published from Chennai, Dinakaran has said, “AIADMK can survive only till the bypolls. They are nothing but a branch of BJP in Tamil Nadu. Close to 90 per cent of AIADMK true supporters are with us, our party will sweep all the 20 constituencies.”

Denying the allegation of his secret meeting with the DMK chief and TN opposition leader, MK Stalin, made by AIADMK party, Dinakaran said, “I never met Stalin, we never had any secret meetings. We just stayed in the same hotel in Madurai during Thevar Jayanthi. It’s a common thing for political leaders of opposite parties to stay in the same hotel, there is nothing wrong.” Dinakaran further said, “We are neither with DMK nor BJP.”
