New Delhi: While considering the exit polls that predict full mandate for Bhartiya Janata Party-led NDA in the Lok Sabha election 2019, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, on Monday, met his ally Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati.

According to the sources, the two leaders discussed the strategy to be adopted in light of possible scenarios that may emerge after the results. After the meeting, which lasted for about an hour, Akhilesh said he would discuss election-related issues after May 23.

Interestingly, majority of exit poll, on Sunday, predicted that BJP led NDA is going to get mandate in this Lok Sabha election. The exit poll also predicted that the saffron party will get good number of seats in the biggest state in terms of constituencies.

Meanwhile, the exit poll has contradictions. Some of the polls show NDA Will get the majority of seats over the Uttar Pradesh mahagathbandhan (grand alliance), but the others have given an edge to the mahagathbandhan.
