Chaudhary has a big fan following. Her fan following surged in north India especially after participating in Bigg Boss – the hugely popular reality TV show. Therefore, this “news” spread like wildfire.

Sapna Choudhary denies joining Congress

As the news broke and started creating buzz among political circles, Chaudhary, on Sunday, said she has not joined any party. Interestingly, Babbar tweeted a photo of Chaudhary along with Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra with a “welcome to the Congress family” note.

Chaudhary said, “I have not joined the Congress party. My photos posted with Priyanka Gandhi are old because I have met them many times before. The biggest issue is that I have not joined any party.”

Referring to photographs filling their forms for membership in Congress, she said, “If old interviews can be broadcasted then why old photos cannot be shown?”

Chaudhary further said that she will not campaign for any party in the Lok Sabha election.
