UP: Farmers hold sit-ins, block roads 

 
Hundreds of farmers hit the street in Lucknow, Agra, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Rampur, Sambhal and other districts. Senior police officers claimed that the protests were peaceful and no untoward incident took place.
