CBI Raids 25 Places in Bengal In Connection With Coal Scam

The CBI's anti-corruption branch today searched 25 locations in West Bengal in connection with a coal smuggling racket, allegedly led by in Asansol based kingpin named Anup Majhi. Premised being raided include offices and homes of Mr Majhi's associates in Asansol, Durgapur, and Raniganj in Burdwan district, as well as Bishnupur in the South 24 Parganas district.
