Jupiter, Saturn to appear as ‘double planet’ in rare celestial event on December 21 

 
Saturn and Jupiter will be so close to each other that it will be extremely difficult, if not completely impossible, to see them separately with the naked eye, in an event that is called a 'great conjunction'.
