Amit Shah, on his health rumours, says ‘I’m perfectly healthy’
The Union home minister, Amit Shah, dispelled rumours about his health and said he is in good health.
In a message posted on Twitter, Shah, on Saturday, said: “The country is currently fighting a global epidemic like coronavirus and as I keep busy being the home minister of the country, I did not pay attention to all of this. When this came to my notice late at night, I thought that all these people should enjoy their imaginary thoughts. Therefore, I did not give any clarification.”
Shah then said he had to post the clarification as he could “no longer ignore the concerns of millions of his party workers and well-wishers.
He ended the message by saying: “I have no ill will or malice towards people who have spread these rumours. Thank you to you too.”

Shah’s message comes in the backdrop of speculations, mainly because of rumours on social media, that he was unwell. Some social media users even posted photos of a lean-looking Shah, which fuelled the rumours.
