Lalu Prasad calls Rahul Gandhi’s decision to resign as Congress president ‘suicidal’

RJD chief Lalu Prasad, on Tuesday, called Rahul Gandhi’s decision to quit from the post of Congress president “suicidal”. The former Bihar chief minister, who is serving jail after being convicted of the fodder scam, said Gandhi’s resignation would be like falling into the BJP trap.

After the spectacular defeat in Lok Sabha election, Gandhi resigned from his post and asked the party to look for his replacement.

On the Lok Sabha election results, Lalu said the opposition should accept this decision as “their collective failure” and “should introspect on what went wrong”.
