Harayana will conduct citizens’ registration, Manohar Lal Khattar says

Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, on Monday, unofficially triggered the campaign for the Haryana parliamentary election, which is due in next year. Khattar promised the state to conduct a survey for the controversial National Register of Citizens (NRC) soon.

Addressing an event in Gurgaon, Khattar said, “While we have a list of all Rohingya living in the state, we want the NRC survey to be done across Haryana as well.”

Khattar always has been a vocal supporter of the NRC exercise, in Assam. Earlier too, he had demanded such kind of survey to be done in the state.
