Misa Bharti admits ‘some discord’ between brothers Tej and Tejashwi Prasad Yadav

Rajya Sabha member Misa Bharti, who is Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad’s eldest daughter, has revealed, on Sunday, that there was some discord between her two brothers – Tej Pratap and Tejashwi Prasad – before RJD workers at Maner, about 20km from the state capital Patna.

During a feast of “litti-chokha” (a traditional Bihari food), Misa told party workers: “Some kind of discord remains in every family. When all five fingers in our hand are not equals and there is ‘manmitao’ (discord) between two brothers in my family … then the Rashtriya Janata Dal is very large family. The RJD has no dearth of votes.” “It is common these days that two brothers in a family have a bitter relationship,” she added.

There were speculations that all was not well in the Lalu Prasad family and the two brothers have fallen apart. This is the first time someone from the family has spoken directly about it.
