NITI Aayog’s Rajiv Kumar responds sarcastically to Rahul Gandhi’s tweet on farm-loan waiver

NITI Aayog vice-chairman Rajiv Kumar said that no government has ever worked for farmers as much as the Narendra Modi government, as a response to Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s tweet on loan waiver.

According to media reports, Kumar, on Wednesday, said, “What can I say? It’s like ‘maano na maano main hi champion.’ Government works after looking at everything. I don’t think any other government has ever worked for farmers as much as the present government is doing.”
The vice-chairperson of NITI Aayog added that the Modi government also raised credit for farmers to Rs 10.50 lakh crore, which no one did.
Kumar said,“Rahul Gandhi’s governments should do their work, others will do theirs”
