New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, on Monday, recommended to governor Ram Naik to sack Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party leader Om Prakash Rajbhar from his cabinet for his attacking remarks against Bhartiya Janata Party.

After the CM recommended, governor accepted the recommendation and relieved Rajbhar from his post of backward class welfare and handicapped empowerment minister, an official spokesperson said.

The spokesperson added that the UP CM also recommended that all other SBSP members holding the rank of minister of state be removed immediately.

Interestingly, despite being a part of the BJP led NDA Rajbhar has always been reported making controversial statements against the saffron party. His latest remarks came during the poll in which he mentioned that BJP members should be “thrashed” with shoes.

Few days ago, Rajbhar had sent a letter to the chief minister stating that he was resigning from the cabinet.

During the Lok Sabha election, while undermining NDA, Rajbhar had also fielded party candidates from several constituencies in UP and supported Congress and SP-BSP alliance candidates on some seats in Lok Sabha poll.
