Arvind Kejriwal backs Mamata Banerjee, says ‘Modi-Shah duo’s action is bizarre and anti-democracy’
Just like every opposition leader in the country right now, the Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, also tweeted and offered his support to the West Bengal chief minister and Trinamool Congress chief, Mamata Banerjee, over her confrontation with the Narendra Modi government, which triggered by the action of the Central Bureau of Investigation against the Kolkata Police commissioner.
In a tweet, he said: “Modi-Shah duo’s action is completely bizarre and anti-democracy. Modi ji has made a complete mockery of democracy and federal structure (of the country). Few years back, Modi ji captured Anti-Corruption Branch of Del govt by sending paramilitary forces. Now, this. Modi-Shah duo is a threat to India and its democracy.”
