Maharashtra governor C Vidyasagar Rao says ‘I’m proud of Sanghstan links’
C Vidyasagar Rao, the governor of Maharashtra, said that he was proud to be a part of “Sanghstan” and accepted the government’s association with RSS without any qualm.
The new term, “Sanghstan”, used publicly by Rao to denote the Nagpur-based Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh took everyone by surprise, including former pracharaks, like Union minister Nitin Gadkari and RSS general secretary Bhaiyaji Joshi.
At the inauguration of MS Golwarkar Gurukul at the Kavikulguru Kalidas Sanskr IT University, governor Rao said, “We all have come from Sanghstan and are proud to be associated with it.”
He used the word several times in his thirty minutes speech.
