Narendra Modi says opposition is uniting against BJP to ‘save dynasties’

Taking dig at the opposition parties’ efforts to form a united front against the Bharatiya Janata Party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the opposition is joining hands for the 2019 Lok Sabha election to bring down the BJP government as their leaders are concerned and want to leave behind something for their families.

During a video interaction with his party workers of five Lok Sabha constituencies, on Saturday, Modi maintained that the opposition parties are in fear that if the BJP continues to be in power for 10 years and rules the country for the next 5 years more, “what will happen to their 200-500 dynasties.”

Accusing the opposition of telling lies about his government, he said, “Some leaders are like lying machines. Whenever they open their mouths, they fire off lies like an AK-47.”
