Narendra Modi to world leaders: ‘Terrorism gravest threat to global peace and security’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, said that terrorism has become one of the gravest threats to global peace and security, and emphasized on the importance of immediate “demonstrable and irreversible action” against terrorism by all concerned countries.

Modi said this during a call with the Turkey President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who called to express condolences for the victims of the recent Pulwama attacks. After which the ministry of external affairs tweeted about the same:

In another call with the United Arab Emirates’ crown prince, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the prime minister expressed his happiness at the growing strength of all-round bilateral cooperation. And the leaders reiterated their commitment to further consolidate the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership.
