Ram Vilas Paswan says ‘10% quota move has given NDA back their confidence’

Union minister and Lok Janshakti Party president Ram Vilas Paswan, on Sunday, said the government’s move of 10 per cent reservation to “economically weaker section” in the general category has given the confidence back among the NDA allies.

Paswan said, “It is true that we were a bit shaky following BJP’s defeat in the recent assembly polls, but Prime Minister (Narendra) Modi trumped the opposition with the 10 per cent quota move. It looks like we have stopped the drift now.”

Paswan also said he was quite satisfied with the seat-sharing arrangements in Bihar and was very confident about the alliance’s win in the state.
