Shatrughan Sinha to Modi: ‘You may not have dearth of admirers, but I won't be among them’

Actor-turned-politician and BJP MP from Patna Sahib, Shatrughan Sinha he may part ways with the party soon when he expressed his latest displeasure on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sinha had been expressing his unhappiness with BJP and its leadership, and he tweeted that he might soon quit the Bharatiya Janata Party, with which he had been associated for nearly two decades now.

Though he didn’t mention Modi by name, Sinha’s reference made it very clear that he was referring to the prime minister by using “sir” in his tweet.

Sinha tweeted: “Sir, the Nation respects you, but the only thing the leadership lacks is credibility & trust factor. Leadership jo kar rahi hai aur kah rahi hai kya log uspe vishwas kar rahe hain, shayad nahin [sic].”

Sinha further tweeted: “Mohabbat karne wale kam na honge, teri mehfil mein lekin ham na honge (you may perhaps have no dearth of admirers, but I would not be among them).”
