Uma Bharati says ‘country will judge Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as a thief’s wife’

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Uma Bharati, on Tuesday, said that the country will “judge” Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as the wife of a “thief”.

While responding to reporters, in Chhattisgarh’s Durg, on Priyanka Gandhi’s chances at influencing the election, Bharati said, “Nothing … Someone whose husband is accused of being a thief, how will they be judged? They will be judged the way the country looks at the wife of a thief.”

Bharati, while expressing her disagreement with Election Commission’s equal punishment to Samajwadi Party’s Azam Khan and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, also said that Adityanath responded to Mayawati on something whereas, Khan “insulted women”.
