New Delhi: The Congress president, Rahul Gandhi, asked for help from his party members to advise him with the best strategies to win the 2019 Lok Sabha election.

According to Congress sources, Rahul announced three panels to be launched for the election, such as core-group, manifesto and publicity committees. The core group will be top decision-making panel to oversee the party’s preparations and management of other things for the election.

On August 28, the Congress general secretary and in charge of organization and training, Ashok Gehlot, wrote a  letter to heads of the party’s different wings. In the letter, Gehlot wrote: “As heads of the frontal organizations, departments and cells, you have been active in taking the message of the Congress president to the grassroots and your suggestions and feedback is necessary so as to plan the election strategy.”

Congress sources also said Rahul will hold a meeting with members of his party soon to strategize for the election.
